Let me explain....my husband has the fr44 insurance because of a dui and is required to have the policy in place for 3 years....he has already had it 1 1\2 yrs and during the month of nov I lost my job and somehow I missed the payment and didn't realize it never got a late letter in the mail u know how the postal service is sometimes. Well dec. Payment was a renewal payment which I paid on time or so I thought I was paying instead it was the back payment...in the mean time I received a cancellation letter 20 days after the date my policy cancelled by the time I got that and tried to pay the renewal it was to late and because of xmas holiday they were closed....I know the insurance time will start over but what else is going to happen I need to get the ins back but will the dmv suspend his drivers liscense? Please help..What happens if my fr44 insurance gets cancelled?
