Havent gotten my mail after canadian postal strike!!! HELP!?

hi last month canada had a postal strike and they went back to work at the end of last month. we are missing mail...we were supposed to get an insurance cheque and we haven't so we called and htere issuing a new one. i am a subscriber of Food Network magazine and i haven't gotten last months issue yet! what do i do???? its almost time for this months to come and i havent even recieved last months!!! who do i contact, the mail service or the magazine?Havent gotten my mail after canadian postal strike!!! HELP!?
Well..ummmmmmmm..It's just a magazine....so you get 2 copies in one month-is that worth getting upset and sending emails and making phone calls over?-it's not the magazine's fault and if you read the fine print on subscription "contracts" you'll notice they aren't responsible for anything "beyond their control" whether it's postal strikes or earthquakes etc....and calling Canada Post isn't going to expedite the catching up regarding the backlog in the system.As far this insurance cheque goes;can't the insurance company electronically deposit the money in a bank account for you?I'm surprised they didn't either do that or send it via Purolator in the first place-everyone *should* have seen all this coming weeks ago.Havent gotten my mail after canadian postal strike!!! you are not alone... i have just started to receive a backlog of mail as well, canada post will only tell you to be patient... my recommendation would call the magazine and see if they can credit your account for the missed month... you probably will still get all the backlogged mail, they say they should be caught up in the next week or soHavent gotten my mail after canadian postal strike!!! HELP!?
It will take time for all the mail to funnel through, I'm sure there's tons of it to be processed.
