How do I get My package that's been sent to the wrong address?

I recently bought something a couple days ago. I started to wonder why it was taking so long and realized that I had provided the wrong address. Under normal circumstances I would have called them to tell them that they had my package but when I looked the address up, it turned out to be an apartment. I don't really know what to do at this point. There's no insurance or postal delivery on it either.How do I get My package that's been sent to the wrong address?
No insurance? Lesson learned.
